Wow, "Sure and Certain". This is the Jimmy Eat World that I first fell in love with.

 

I might actually be in agreement with you here it's an amazing song

I had a tiiiiny bit of doubt after hearing Get Right, but wow... wow. This song is killer.

Sure and Certain is starting to premiere on radio stations all over the country today so I presume its the lead single

 

"Invented" is one of the band's best songs of all time. While this song is great, it doesn't surpass that.

Guys- this is just the single. Knowing how hard this is hitting me, I can only imagine what gems are waiting for us on the album.

I love this song, but by no means am I willing to argue that it's a "top-tier" JEW song yet. It's been an hour. I mean, I love this band to death, but pump the brakes haha

Not to sound like I'm a blithering radio industry asshole, but the moment I heard this, I thought this could very well be the song that skyrockets this band back to the big-time. Huge, friendly hook and the production is awesome. Really hoping this track catches on and becomes a steady hit for them.

But for real my nails are black today and I'm stoked on it.

 

I agree. I don't know why, but they've almost consistently had horrible luck with choosing their lead single (like choosing "My Best Theory" over "Coffee and Cigarettes" or "I Will Steal You Back" over anything else off of that album). I really hope they push this because it's a great choice.
