For some reason I thought he did "Your New Aesthetic" too.

 

No haha. I hated that song for a long time too. Came around to it tho

 

Some of the older songs are tough to distinguish. I thought for the longest time Tom did the Firestarter cover too

 

Is it Jim singing "imitate and water down"?

 

Yeah, but I think tom does backing vocals on that part

I think Action is pretty meh too, it's an okay song but doesn't fit especially well. I think my opinion changes on this all the time though. I like Blister much more.

I totally get disliking Action though, @CoffeeEyes17, and btw what you said about that song is exactly what I think of Sweetness haha

I also hated "You New Aesthetic" for a long time. Clarity in general took me awhile to appreciate. It's a record worth revisiting until it clicks.

"When I Want" is definitely one of my favourite Jimmy Eat World songs

I was definitely surprised by the "fucked" in that song. After having been through several of their albums without any cursing, I was taken aback a bit. Haha.

It might have played a part in my enjoyment of the album as a whole, but time will tell. Haha.
