If you have your settings set to 45 posts per thread page, that post is on page 57 of this thread. It's huge, you can't miss it haha I can actually link you to it when I'm home from work and not on mobile
Look at all the new disciples in the Church of James Eat World. "Now all I need is just to hear a song I know." - James Adkins, 2:10, Book of Bleed American.
Not a hit on Tom for me. "Blister" is one of my favorite songs on Clarity. I wouldn't love action needs an audience with Jim singing it either lol
There actually was a live video of what would become Action Needs an Audience with Jim on vocals and different lyrics altogether. I remember that being posted on AP in 2009 or early 2010.
It's always been my second favorite but I think it might mean more to me than futures at this point, hard to compare but both really shaped me when I was 12 and 15, respectively
Action Needs An Audience is the only JEW song I've deleted from my library. I really actively dislike that song. Not just because of Tom either I just don't like it.
"blister" is fucking awesome. i like "action" a lot but it sits weirdly in the album. they need a song to break up "cut" and "invented"/"mixtape" but it's so heavy and out of place
"Cut" - "Invented" - "Mixtape" would've been a perfect 3 song run to end the album with but "Action Needs An Audience" had to go and ruin the flow of it all
"Action Needs an Audience" is fine. I just take issue with where it comes in the tracklist. Without that song, the back half of Invented would be pretty untouchable.
