    Hard to argue with that.

Does anyone else prefer the live version of "Goodbye Sky Harbor" to the studio version? Don't get me wrong, the studio version is one of the most beautiful songs ever, but I love the heavier guitars in the live version. It gives the chorus more power, in my opinion.

as a huge Clarity fan, I prefer the live version myself but that has a lot to do with the better guitars like you said, and the length. The sprawling, 16 minute version is wonderful and all but I rarely listen to it along with the rest of the album.

Agreed on the length as well. Also, I'm listening to their iTunes Session right now, and my god, they're pretty much flawless live.

For Me This Is Heaven is a brilliant song. Actually saw The Fall of Troy cover it live four days after I had just seen Jimmy Eat World live, although they didn't play it haha

For Me This Is Heaven is one of the best songs on this album, truly brilliant. And I also prefer the love version of Goodbye Sky Harbor.

I think "Blister" may be my favorite song on Clarity. I prefer the more rocking tracks on the album.

"Blister" is so good. I wonder if Tom will take the lead on any more songs in the future. "Action Needs an Audience" was a nice surprise on Invented.

It's such a change of pace from the rest of Invented that I didn't like it for a long time, but it grew on me a lot. Kinda serves a similar function to "Nothing Wrong".

I do! It takes on another life in a live setting. It's so good.

  14. "Blister" is amazing. It gives me chills whenever I listen to it on the Clarity Live album. It takes me back to being there and hearing how loud everyone was singing that song.

Am I the only one that really loves Claire off of Static Prevails??

Also, if this means anything, a user on the JEW subreddit claims to be in contact with some members of the band. He says he's been to over 30 of their shows and they started noticing and invited him out to eat with them and they've been talking ever since. Apparently, the band is hoping to have the new album out this year, they've taken a new approach to it, and the band has reportedly hinted to him that Tom will be singing more songs.

I dont see any reason why this guy would be lying. Usually people who lie about those type of things do it on platforms where they will get a lot of attention, and the JEW subreddit is pretty much dead. He posted a picture of the band from behind the stage at the recent festival they performed at, if that adds any credibility.

  20. I mean it seems pretty clear that they're getting ready to work on a record/are already working on one from their Instagram. Which is very exciting

They were in the studio in LA for a good month or two. I wonder if they'll have a producer and who.
