Bought a month of Apple Music student sub, and I've downloaded their discography.

Chase This Light is a stellar album. Really hooked me.

So in the past few months, both Radiohead and Jimmy Eat World have gained a new fan in me. WHAT YEAR IS IT?

I would've said start with Bleed American, but it looks like CTL worked nicely for @Kevin360.

Also, yeah, Here It Goes is an amazing song. Might be in my top five JEW songs at this point.

 

@fenway89 Clarity is my number one. Also in in my top 3 albums of all time. I think it's sweet you've connected with Damage the way you have. I remember your post about why that record hit you the way it did, and it honestly crosses my mind when I listen to that record now.

@Kevin360 YEEES. So stoked you're digging Jimmy Eat World!!!! And especially excited that you liked Chase This Light. I would honestly keep spinning CTL for a couple days before moving onto another JEW release, kinda let them soak in. They have a big discography haha.

@FTank i feel like most people would say start with Futures or Bleed American. For some reason in my opinion Bleed American is just a bad place to start. I want to make a more detailed post about this when I'm not on mobile - but as time passes for me, the more I see how multiple JEW releases are just far supior than Bleed American as a whole record. I feel weird saying that seeing as it's literally an album that got me into music.
