Thanks for calling out that god-awful review... While not my favorite Menzingers, it's still purely them. Your review summed it up wonderfully. Appreciate it. Also... Hell yes surviving, I'm going to lose it over the course of this next week.
Honestly I liked the Menzingers review. I don't agree with it and it wasn't really a review of the music. But I found the breakdown and interpretation of the bands progression and lyrical tendancies to be quite interesting and well-thought-out. The writer clearly did his/her research and knows the bands music well.
I think that's a good idea to not ask it honestly. Zach probably feels like he has said all he needed to say about it, he has a new album he is excited to talk about I'm sure, and the band stands on its own as an interesting enough topic without the need to attach them to this controversy around an arguably more famous band.
That's a shame. Looks like the archive of the show is no longer on YouTube. They played All the Way (Stay), Criminal Energy, For Me This Is Heaven, Sweetness and Love Never. Sounded decent.
Weird, Kimmel is pretty good at posting all the musical guests performance for the show here: Jimmy Kimmel Live It's not up there (the TV appearance, I'm talking about - not the live stream.)
They did an interview on KROQ with an acoustic performance of The Middle. It was nice but there wasn't much new.
video is not available in my country...please anyone know where i can find their performance on jimmy kimmel?
