I think love never is great tbh

 

I wonder if we will get Criminal Energy as a single on Monday or some time later in the week. Seems like a good idea to put out one more single for the final stretch of build up to the album.

 

Ive listened to Love Never and the other single only once. I’m going into this album COMPLETELY BLIND. I won’t even read @Jason Tate ’s thoughts

 

What in the Jimmy Eat World are you 3 on about!?

 

Some goddamn jams on this album. “Diamond” is like the sequel to “The Middle.”

 

The lyrics in that song are potential all timers for me. They’re great.

 

Agreed. I think that one and “Delivery” are my early favorites.

 

You guys won me over with blink but I will resist this time!

 

Same. With “555” coming up in the “pass the baby” spot as potentially a sleeper “woah that’s a cool new twist” song.

 

Yeah, that one is great too. It struck me as a more successful take on what they were trying to do with “Higher Devotion.”

 

For all you MFs who already got to hear this early - what do you think of the closer "Congratulations"...???

Does the album feel short...? I have to admit that I was a tiny bit bummed when the tracklist was revealed to be 10 tracks, even though I know this is a silly way to feel. My guess would have been 11 tracks anyways which is only 1 more.

 

I've only listened to Love Never. I refuse to listen to anything else until I have the whole album.
