I wish more bands would do this short of an album rollout. Makes it easier to not give into temptation avoid the single(s) to just hear the whole album all at once.
Yes. Yes. Yes. And Yes. New Blink New Tiger Army New Sum 41 New Post Malone New The Dangerous Summer New Bad Suns New Bad Religion New The Menzingers New 311 Now New Jimmy Eat World Great fucking year.
Has to be any minute now the band will announce something. They surely wont let this magazine sit there on the shelves discussing the album without any mention of it from the band themselves. Today is the day. I think with it being such a short roll-out too means they will announce alongside a single straight away, rather than saying "single on Friday" or whatever, just to keep things simple, but who knows.
In August they could have officially announced a mid October release so they announce the news an not magazines and distribution web sites. Otherwise, announcing an album title, official release date, single and tracklisting in a month is fine, and can kind of be fun.
Pretty sure when they released damage, the single came out with the album artwork and announcement. Was like a Wednesday evening in the UK I think. I remember them trending on twitter briefly that day.
They tend to have an affinity for debuting things in the UK. They went out of their way to visit the UK for Gunnersville, premiered their new song, did an interview with Kerrang, and persumably did a bunch of other things while they were here that we will soon find out about. Last time around the debuted Get Right on BBC Radio. I wonder why that is. Maybe they just love their UK fanbase because it's the best, what can I say?
i remember being very upset that i had to buy it as Jimmy Eat World on iTunes and then manually changing it lol
