Invented rules, to leave it out of any discussion regarding this band's best albums would be criminal.

I played that for my kids (3.5 year-olds) the other day when they were having a “dance party” and they were into it.

 

hell yeah! Who wouldn’t be haha.

 

I will preface this post with the fact that I consider Jimmy Eat World to be a top 5 band all time. With that, the singles, album art, music video, pre-orders, etc haven't grabbed me in any capacity. I'm optimistic about the full record, but a bit bummed going into it.

 

I think the high points of Invented (Heart is Hard to Find, Evidence, Movie-like, Invented, Mixtape) are amongst some of the best in their career. As a whole though, I would put it behind Clarity, Futures, CTL, and BA.

I can't stop listening to All The Way (Stay). It's like when Menzingers released Anna.

 

I’d like to point out this will be the first album since Futures where the first track is the title track.

 

this band has the best title tracks

 

I just got home after a long miserable rainy day and whacked on 23. Futures is their masterpiece.

 

The fact this wasn’t a massive radio hit is borderline tragic.

 

Anyone think All The Way could be a radio hit given the right marketing and little bit of luck?

Sure & Certain was underrated.

 

I saw two live shows on the Integrity Blues tour and people lost their minds for Sure & Certain; it was awesome!

 

One of my absolute favorite songs from them. It’s actually perfect and I will take no dissenting opinions, thanks

 

Honestly...no. Not in this climate

 

Always felt this could have been a huge bubblegum pop hit song by a Cyndi Lauper kind of singer from the 80’s. I mean that as compliment.

 

Here It Goes should have been such a smash hit. Movielike could have been a big hit too, IMO

 

want to give credit to "Anderson Mesa," really great song
