I was just making the point that they've been ridiculously consistent for some time now and I worry that the streak is going to eventually come to an end as it does for the vast majority of artists

 

who says it has to? sleater-kinney have eight great albums in a row

The Integrity Blues' cover is perfect, including the typeface. On what planet is it "awful"??

 

That's one band. Not many artists manage to maintain that level of quality over so many albums.

 

Most bands don't still put out good stuff this late in their career, that's very true. And there's something to be said for quitting while you're ahead. But I still have faith in JEW. They're consistent for a reason and I'll always pine for a new album. Nothing overly egregious has been said here so let's not dwell too much on what was said.

Do y'all think we will get another single before release? I think we might get Criminal Energy maybe a week before release just for the final sprint of hype.

That’s not a point, though, because it isn’t backed up by anything. It makes no sense. It’s just a pointlessly negative thing to say for the sake of being pointlessly negative. It’s fine if you personally don’t enjoy this song but I’m still trying to wrap my head around what that statement was supposed to accomplish other than to get people riled up.

 

Why would you get riled up over a post on a message board? Damn, I wish that was all I had to worry about.
