Is this the best J.E.W song ever!?! WTF.

That riff is so good, and the fact that I had to wait 2 minutes for them to drop to the next chord is fucking awesome.

 

Right? It's basically a two-chord song and it's INCREDIBLE.

 

It’s so good, god damn. Shout out to the unique drum fills during that first 2 minute build up, keeps things really moving even though it’s just one chord.

I’m actually always a little wary of listening to a new album from this band because the thought is usually “surely they can’t STILL be consistently as good as the last album, right?” And then I’m happy to be proven wrong.

 

Damn they are the best live band

 

Invented is really finally clicking with me after being their release that I struggle to connect with the most

No, you are definitely not. I've been biting my tongue on here about it so as not to come off as greedy, but I am very much looking forward to some b-sides / bonus tracks eventually.

 

The album hasn’t even been out for a month yet. If there are b-sides, they will come with time like they have with every album so far

 

Weird that people just expect b-sides.

 

It's not really that weird - they are a band with a tendency to end up releasing not only a lot of b-sides and bonus tracks, but a lot of absolutely stellar ones.

Futures alone has almost another album's worth of incredible b-sides.

 

If B-Sides come around, that's cool, but as of rn I'm content with how concise the release is

 

It’s been awhile since they had an absolute truckload of b-sided to drop, though. The last few records, we’ve only gotten a few. And it sounds like they might be holding what they do have for an EP. You’re thinking back to a completely different era of the music industry, when it made sense for bands to just leak that stuff to the internet. Now, it makes more sense to hold it for a special streaming release of some sort. That’s what I’d bet on.
