One of my favorite parts of any jimmy song

 

Jimmy is, obviously, great at closers but their penultimate tracks are perpetually underrated:

Authority Song
Night Drive
Firefight
Invented
Byebyelove
Integrity Blues

I do think invented is appropriately rated

 

night drive is a song i dislike on my favorite album of all time

 

yeah night drive isn't great

 

Now’s the right time for a good song. Get something to say what I can’t.

Night Drive is easily the weakest song on Futures

I would rate at least Pain and Work lower than Night Drive.

I think futures has probably the lowest lows of their 2000s output tbh

I will not stand for this Night Drive disrespect. That’s my favorite song off the album. I can barely describe the emotion I’ve felt listening to that song over the years, it’s just magical to me.
