So based off the BBC interview and the radio single release, makes me wonder if they'll hold off on an official album announcement and this is the appetizer.
What are feelings Jordan? There are very few things I would like more than a full-album exploration of the SOMST sound.
I got some SOMST vibes too. And it's interesting that Jim wouldn't say the release date ; wonder if might get pushed back a bit.
I like this a lot. The production is huge. Really like the bridge and also the way Jim sings "get it right..... get right".
I feel like they're going for the loud, rock record here. Less emphasis on hooks and more emphasis on just rocking out. I'm interested.
If there's one thing I've learned from following this band, it's not to read too much into the lead track.
Oh man. Every one of the last 6 JEW albums has been somewhere in the range of very good to potentially life changing, and judging from this song, that string of great releases is not stopping anytime soon. Can't wait for this album.
I can't stop thinking about this. This album is going to riddle me throughout work and school until I have it in my hands.
Pre-ordered. Cause, why not. Looks like the page got updated to confirm "intended" release date of October 21.
It's good to see that confirmed, kind of. I impulse preordered. I know we've had several discussions about this, but even posting a preorder with a question mark and no other details along with the single, and it's enough for me to get excited.
That song made me psyched, not because I really liked it, but because it sounds like the hard rock songs they made when they were also making my favorite music. Hopefully there's more in the vein of that outro.
I seriously cannot get enough of the new track. I fucking love everything about it. Have I said that already? Well just in case I haven't, I love it.
Echoing those that have said its a solid JEW single. This band single are rarely my favorite tracks on their records (obviously there are exceptions), but for whatever reason that's just seems to be a pattern for me. I'm so excited for the record.
