I met them after one of their shows maybe four or five years ago. There were about eight of us that bothered to chill behind the venue and they came right out into an alleyway, signed stuff, and chatted with us just to shoot the shit. I never do anything like that, but I wanted to get something signed as an engagement gift for my sister in law. Really down to earth guys from what I've experienced.
I didn't listen to the track released last week, and I won't listen to this one. It's only a week away. I don't want to spoil any more of this album!
i dont see it as a spoiler, just a week to really indulge in a song and explore what it offers. getting all the songs at once is great but also kind of overwhelming sometimes. i love having time to really explore a single song and learn what it means to me
sure & certain >>> get right > you with me >>> you are free that might change though. you with me grew on me loads so maybe you are free will too.
yeah thats what i tought , the mass has moved to other things well then im pissed bunch of trendy people
Think I'll wait....unless I have a moment of weakness later tonight lol I said fuck it and bought the CD. Hoping it gets here a day early. The artwork is so pretty that I need this album in hand.
at the show in madison you could pre order the album and get the s&c/my enemy 7", and i realllyyy wanted it but i already pre ordered it from their website. oh and also, i'd have to drive back down to madison to pick it up next week which i definitely don't want to do.
Probably not a good sign if my 7" Sure and Certain single hasn't shipped from Amazon but it is supposed to arrive tomorrow.
Not judging anyone for listening! For me, listening now means there's one less surprise when I get to hear the album, you know?
I was revisiting Invented today, and while it still had some missteps in my opinion, I really like some of the highs on that album - Mixtape, Heart Is Hard to Find, and Invented especially. I always wish the big payoff in Invented lasted longer but it's just so damn good regardless.
is it a general agrreement that "for me this is heaven" is by miles the best jimmy eat world song as well as the best description of what jimmy eat my jimmies is all about?
