Zach used to hang out on Absolute Punk quite a bit, so I wonder if he will transition towards hanging out on here more often. I don't know whether or not he knows that AP is ancestral to Chorus though.
One day you and I will see eye-to-eye on something, and from then onwards we will be the best of friends. Until then I'm content to see this tension that hangs between us play out a little more.
No, when you come in my inbox insulting me and being toxic I see no need to be friends with you. I have no tension with you.
Lol I was just trying to do a nice thing for a few people who listened to my radio show last night and now i have people blowing up my inbox. This isn't what I wanted
I remember when Zach and some of the band guys would get on Xbox and play Halo 3 after it came out. You'd be in there talking trash and killing folks and all of a sudden it would be like "OMG I know who you are!" Always super cool dudes.
You and I might have been in the same game session you know. I played a few times with Zach on Ghost Recon and Halo and the like, but there was one specific time that the whole band organised a Halo 3 session from their tour bus that I played in. Maybe we were both in the same game, a whole decade ago? That's quite cool.
Yeah Zach played quite a bit on the 360, but I believe the other 3 only created gamertags for that specific halo session.
I'm definitely very thirsty, I'm not ashamed to admit it. Didn't mean to offend with my request though.
No it's all good! Just thought it was funny. I just don't feel super comfortable sending "My Enemy" out to a ton of people even if it is an unreleased B-side
It would be good to get confirmation from the band as to whether or not there will ever be another way to get the song outside of those in-store performances. It can still be ordered from Amazon Japan (and I've just ordered it from there myself), but given the fact that the listings have been removed from Amazon US, and Amazon UK says "unavailable", it seems likely to me that the listings were a mistake and that the vinyl was never meant to be sold. I'm predicting that any orders made on Amazon are going to be eventually cancelled due to an error. Hopefully I'm wrong though.
Sparkle. Shame. When I Want. Open Bar Reception. Be Sensible. Distraction. Anais. Step One. Alternate versions of Dizzy and You Were Good. Aside from the fact that it feels like forever since Damage came out and I'm just clamoring for new JEW, you gotta admit My Enemy is in damn good company when it comes to JEW b-sides. Also, I'm definitely ready to hear this whole album now.
Their B-sides are freaking awesome. Be Sensible is a top 3 Jimmy Eat World song for me, without a doubt, and Shame is just sooooo good.
That Stranger Things-esque synth in You With Me is sooooo juicy. Soooooooooooooooo juicy. Makes my mouth water every time.
I've listened to each of the three songs a few times and I love each one a lot, so now I'm trying to lay off a little bit so I don't overdo it on those 3 before even hearing the rest of the album.
I wish I had your will-power. I must have listened to Sure & Certain like 1,000 times. But then maybe I don't wish it. I like to embrace that excitement. With each new song that gets released I get a couple weeks of excited playing of that song on repeat. Means by the time the album comes out I'll have had 4 separate periods of serious excitement and newness and enjoyment (the last one being the album's release), rather than just the one exciting moment all happening at once. I don't know if that translates to a better experience overall or not, but either way I definitely don't regret playing the living hell out of the 3 songs released so far. It's not like the album wont be just as exciting when it comes out and I have 8 more songs to dig into.
