After 2 years of dating, my girlfriend is finally getting into Jimmy Eat World. She said she was listening to Bleed American at her work last week and today, she's listening to Invented for the first time tonight as she liked Heart Is Hard To Find when I was talking about good album openers with her. She's also casually listened to Futures and Integrity Blues whenever she was over, but I've very happy she's going out of her way to listen to them on her own. The band is a very important part of who I am.
I feel similarly. Every time I’ve seen them has been great, but it’s been a pretty similar setlist all 3-4 times. They have so many terrific songs. I always come out wishing they’d dug a little deeper. They’re a band that I think could do longer sets, too.
I’ve never seen them before so I’m more than happy to scream along with the more well-known tracks. Would really love Invented and Polaris though.
They put on an incredible show. The Futures 10 Year Anniversary show is one of my three favorite concerts ever. Perfect.
plenty of bands don’t use amps anymore tbh. with axe fx/fractal and line 6’s high end line there’s a ton of options, and you can either use an external pedal board or their pedal sets with it either way. pretty smart option for a massive band like them that spends so much time on the road.
Ronald McDonald put Get Right in his "worst tracks" list, saying it sounds like coldplay. putting these two new ones in "meh tracks" is honestly a surprisingly positive twist.
