i think it was @Zac Djamoos who started it but then everyone else who had an advance jumped in. had us all convinced that jim dropped 2 F bombs on this album haha.
There's a live recording of Jim singing "No Sensitivity" with the lyric changed to "So fucking obvious to me." Wish I could find it.
Oh yeah! I remember that. Shit, I remember telling my girlfriend about that. hahaha Goddamn it @Zac Djamoos.
Was lukewarm on this album until today, JEW's albums always take time to grow on me but goddammit this acoustic rendition is absolutely amazing/heart-breaking Feel free to share other great acoustic performances with me. I love this shit.
The clever ways I try to change Happen and pass leaving me the fucking same Of course it must be something else Leading questions I might ask my-fucking-self Sure and certain Wander 'til we're fucking old Lost and lurking Wonder 'til we're fucking cold What you do works for a time Until you drop without a fucking sign If you keep going on like this I'll be one more fucking thing for you to miss Sure and certain Fucking wander 'til we're old Lost and lurking Fucking wonder 'til we're cold
They were great and had lots of energy, but vocals sounded much flatter on Kimmel then they did on Colbert. Studio TV could be to blame. Sound quality is always pretty hit or miss with live performances like these.
the dynamic reminds of a rougher vocalist giving way to a more traditionally pretty vocalist reminds me a lot of sunny day real estate. anyway i think tom's voice is interestingly textured but it suits a very specific style
He was a sucker for your double dose Mother fucker Turned white as a ghost oh wait that's a real JEW lyric...
