Lean is like my little treasure of a song. It's often overlooked by many but I think the simplicity and honesty of it is what makes the track so good.

 

Damage is nearly flawless but I think Appreciation is one of the weaker songs (along with No, Never and Byebyelove). For underrated I'll go with Please Say No and How'd You Have Me.

Clarity is absolutely one of the more underrated songs of their career. People talk about that album a lot but they rarely ever mention the title track. I think it's one of the best rockers they've ever done.

 

How'd you have me is my favorite on damage besides I will steal you back

 

I think Appreciation, Damage, I Will Steal You Back, No, Never, and You Were Good are my top 5 from Damage. I honestly love that record front to back, though.

Musically, I Will Steal You Back is probably number 1 but I only let the others edge it out because of their lyrics, which is what makes Damage what it is anyway.

 

I've noticed that IB is not nearly as guitar driven as previous albums, and I've realized that's a big part of what makes it feel so different to me. Even the songs that are guitar driven are still not the "typical" JEW style (with the exception of Get Right). Not a criticism, just an observation.

You Are Free might end up being my favorite song from this record.

 

i wanted this album to be a return to guitar-driven music and was excited when Get Right and Sure & Certain came out. was a little disappointed with how the album turned out because it wasnt the style I was hoping for, but its still great at what it does. Please, though, I really want the next album to feature more electric guitar!!

 

pretty much settled on "you with me" being my favorite track on this.

 

Heart Is Hard To Find is the most underrated Jimmy song

 

I think "If You Don't, Don't" or "Here It Goes"

 

If You Don't, Don't is another good one and also probably my favorite Jimmy song
