They're playing work on the current tour. Actually the last three songs before the encore are 23, work, and pain. Great stretch of songs Actually maybe praise chorus was after 23. Can't remember. I just remember the end of the regular set being stacked
As I said, it wasn't a staple. As in its not played ALL the time, like Sweetness and The Middle and such are.
I'd go with "Chase This Light" or "Firefight" for underrated. Usually only see those mentioned negatively or people saying theyre not that bad. Both top 10 JEW songs for me.
Yeah true but it seems they work it in when they can. They played it all three times I've seen them, though one of those was the future tour. And I think jim played it when I saw just him
Well, I'm there with you on "Sweetness" (and much of Bleed in general), but not on "If You Don't Don't."
"Chase This Light" is very underrated. "Carry You" used to be, but it seems like people have realized how incredible that bridge is.
Most underrated? "Anderson Mesa", "12.23.95", "Coffee And Cigarettes", "You And I" (Wilco cover), "Damage" and "Lean" off the top of my head. EDIT: Yeah, the only reason I didn't say "Carry You" was because lots of people here considered it a favorite JEW song a few days ago. Good to know it turned out to be a grower. Always loved that song, even before I was really into this band.
Pretty much everything off Damage is underrated with the possible exception of "Appreciation," which usually seems properly rated.
With as much praise as CTL gets on here, I find it hard to say that any of its songs could be underrated.
Interestingly, I think quite a few BA songs are pretty underrated - Your House, Get It Faster, and The Authority Song specifically don't get much love here from what I see.
