  6. I've loved Free Yourself but man something isn't clicking for me with this one. It feels way... too kitsch, perhaps? It reminds me of the campier material from Kylie Minogue's Light Years, which I've always struggled with.

    I really hope the album isn't fully in that vein.

    Totally agree with you on this; I much prefer her Sade-style songs, versus this Kylie Minogue-ish stuff. It's more easily digestible sure, but like you mention it feels kind of campy

    I’m really enjoying her camp disco pivot. I was in PVR this week and Pearls went off at the club, I think her target market is happy.

  14. I liked Free Yourself but so far the other singles haven't been my cup of tea at all. Not into this campier direction as much as I expected, I guess.
