Gonna hold off a day on this one I think but I’m beyond excited to hear this

  4. Going to dive into the album in a moment, hoping the vinyl arrives this time tomorrow! Here's the track by track feature from Apple Music:

  5. Album of the year contender, what a triumph

I'm loving this. Save a Kiss sounds like a track Robyn lost somewhere and that's a compliment, haha.

Not really vibing with this; seems much more disco influenced, and that's not a sound/groove/beat I really vibe with. Sigh

pretty good album, but totally falls to a sounds-the-same problem throughout

but also no one's gonna convince me that "adore you" sounds like "ooh la la" or "soul control"

first album of hers that I've loved since Devotion. Incredible album, even after just one listen.

"Tough Love" still her strongest songwriting wise, but this album is for those who want a danceified Jessie Ware, and she delivers

I’ve still only heard the singles but even those don’t sound all the same

I feel like when i say "sounds the same" people read it it as "the same song over and over again," which it's not. I'm saying the album is the same vibe the whole way though and doesn't vary much from the theme

I just think that’s a virtue if it’s executed well, I guess. I like an album that can successfully lock into a groove just as much as an album wider scope (which around this forum are usually deemed “scattered” or “unfocused”).

Yeah that's fair enough, and I only listened once anyway, but after one listen it did all kinda blend together a lot for me. Not saying anything about the album being bad or anything. Maybe pretend I used the word "cohesive" instead haha

They fixed your brain when you were young.

One of the first dates my wife and I went on was to see Jessie Ware, so she'll always hold a special place in my heart. Really psyched to dive in.
