Best album of the year so far, for me. Just stellar pop music.

 

most of you know my music tastes...would I like this?

 

This is incredible...a lot of the recent disco revival has felt kind of cheap and inauthentic, but this record is unbelievable. Beautiful People, Freak Me Now, and Shake That Bottle is one of the best runs on a pop record in quite some time.

This will soundtrack every Pride party this summer.

This was absolutely 100% not my vibe, but glad you all vibe with it. This disco sound just does not click. First two records are still far and away tops for me

 

100% agree. I'm really hoping it catches on at our local Pride events, this record screams sunny day celebrations. At the very least it needs to pop off enough for one of our local queens to do a performance.

This is truly hilarious. The woman contains multitudes y'all!

 

I like it but huge step back from WYP for me. very much the daytime record to WYP's nighttime.

 

Love this. Wasn’t expecting to miss TV on the Radio so much 2 minutes into the title track, reminded me a ton of “Golden Age”

 

Yup, this album still fucking rules. So damn good. Can't wait to see her live in LA in Oct!!!

 

Jesus. Might be the only record to come close to Wednesday so far for me this year. What a great 1-2 punch that is.

 

I think I actually like this album more than the last. It's way cheesier, which kinda works in this context, and is pretty mindless... but I at least like it more than the last one. That being said, these are still her bottom two records for me. Super curious to hear what's next

I am at Pitchfork Fest today and I’ve never heard of Jessie Ware before but I’m watching her set and I am quite digging it!
