It's odd to me that a guy as supposedly revered as this wouldn't know how to reboot his career

 

I need to listen to this more. didn't click with me on first listen, but I do love me some Jeremy Enigk

 

It’s an amazing record and no one’s talking about it/listening to it. Ridiculous.

 

Admittedly, I've been following this thread since it was created but I still haven't checked it out. The shame!

 

it’s gomna be either this or julien at the top of my list.

 

Flawless record and if peeps don't start talking about it soon I'll sue. Not sure who or for how much, but I'll sue.

 

Also seconding a previous comment by saying that Onaroll is one of the best songs of the entire year.

I really think this is the best thing he’s done/been involved in since How It Feels To Be Something On. Absolutely stunning record that shamefully continues to fly under the radar.

Just got tickets! I haven't seen him since 2006 opening for Cursive. I need to catch up on his solo work... I haven't listened in a long time (aside from listening to Ghosts once or twice).

 

Takeaways from last night:
- there might be a Return of the Frog Queen tour announced soon
- random people should not be talking during the middle of an intimate acoustic show
- 'How It Feels To Be Something On' is a fantastic song
