I thought they had announced that Jennings was joining the show in some fashion this season as a clue-giver in select categories, and like heavily insinuated that he was being prepped as the replacement.....am i making this up? lol
Not at all - he was actually giving video clues in today’s episode and it was good. That said, he, Brad and James signed to be on ABC’s new reboot of The Chase, so I don’t know that he could do both.
lol, with Alex’s final episodes airing 1/4-1/8, and the inevitable announcement that Ken is taking over as host, it seems like he’s getting his apologizing out of the way now. what a strange thing.
Apparently he made a really off color comment about people in wheelchairs 5 or 6 years ago, that seems to be the big one that (mostly right wing chuds) are pretending to care about. The comment itself seems bad from what others were saying about it (i still haven’t seen it), but...from following his Twitter the last few years I find it hard to believe he’d still make jokes like that these days. I think a lot of people have learned that being offensive for the sake of “humor” isn’t really that cool over the last few years.
Yeah after I posted that I did see another tweet he made that was kind of ableist and probably deserved some amount of criticism
i love jeopardy but, without alex it really won't feel the same. part of his quirkiness, his weird nerdy charm and his demeanor made the show what it is. i know they won't end the show, but i kinda wish they would.
He <was> terrific wasnt he.... You couldnt find any negative press on him even if you wanted to.... But you don't.
He looked ok there. Because of what he tweeted, are we supposed to dislike him now? Or is his apology ok enough?
