Damn, I wish there was a wild card episode for non-winners to get a second chance. He was good but Dratch just kept getting the Daily Doubles.
Becky got destroyed because almost every question was so American based I don't know how she had a chance
lol a Kevin Bacon question popping up on the episode where Kevin Bacon's wife is a contestant. Ken having to remind the audience that the questions are randomized.
Ken Jennings should have been the sole main host this entire time. Two years of host tryouts, producers trying to give themselves the job, and a weird two host alternating structure just to get to the point most fans were telling them should have been 2 years ago.
BTW this is a very good example of what happens when media companies make creative decisions based on analyzing data metrics, and not producers using their gut and/or taking input of the most dedicated fans. You end up with a long drawn out jumbled indecisive process that they end up ultimately overturning when they don't get the results they expected. The Daily Show is currently caught up in this cycle too .
Yeah. Jennings was such an obvious choice that it’s baffling it took this long. All the politics and beliefs aside, Mayim just wasn’t good at it
Not the first time they did this. There was a music trivia spinoff of Jeopardy on VH1 in the late 90's/early 2000's
Does anyone remember the early 2000's Comedy Central game show Beat The Geeks? That was a cool concept I would like to see them bring back. Contestants had a pop culture trivia-off against a panel of experts in the lore of different franchises. It was like Iron Chef for dudes who edit fandom wikis.
I have been watching Jeopardy Masters and it has been fun to watch but the final jeopardy for game two of yesterday's episode was so bad. Logarithm's are not obsolete, and is it really an anagram if it's just the first four letters switched around? (What is obsolete is logarithm tables though)
Been waiting for Rock N Roll Jeopardy to return for 20 years. Hopefully the Pop Culture version is done right.
