If I'm putting on my TV executive hat, which makes me 20% dumber at the least, people really liked The Big Bang Theory and she's an "actual doctor". (ken really just runs laps around her as a host. he's funny, he's engaging, he feels like he knows the material, it's so clear to me that he's 'the guy')
Ken has really come around for me. I would watch him every night. I wouldn't mind MB if she was just a change of pace host for the tournaments like they've been using her, but if its gonna be like Ken one week her one week Ken one week her one week, I am much less into that.
my guess was Gwen Stefani because I didn't know there was an age minimum, but then thought that 1998 would be WAY too soon for No Doubt to get inducted. when they said Stevie it was a huge facepalm moment for me for not getting that lol
I guess they are under pressure/time constraints, but I cannot make sense of a lot of people's wagers in this game.
I was shocked at how quickly they made this announcement after the debacle we went through with Jeopardy.
Pat Sajak is a piece of shit, his politics are awful and he's a climate change denier. But he's a fucking incredible host. I really only watch Wheel on the background while I'm waiting for jeopardy, but I end up getting sucked in by him. I don't see Seacrest having that power
I legit think Pat sucks as a gameshow host and gives off major old man yelling at cloud vibes. He may have been alright back in the day, but he seems like a huge old douche at this point. I hate how he constantly wants to one up contestants and gets awkward and jealous whenever a contestant makes the audience laugh. Not to mention him saying weird shit to Vanna and making fun of that dude's speech impediment that one time. Like, I fucking hate him and I know nothing about his politics. lol
Anyone else watching the latest Celebrity Jeopardy tournament? The other night's first round was really good. You had Brian Baumgartner (Kevin from The Office) vs Lisa Ann Walter (Melissa from Abbott Elementary) vs Timothy Simons (Jonah from Veep) One of the most competitive celebrity jeopardy games I have seen in awhile.
Next week we got Chris Meloni (Law & Order SVU) vs Sherri Shepard (former The View co-host) vs Katie Nolan (sports broadcaster)
I don't watch sports but I love Katie Nolan when she's on the All Fantasy Everything podcast. Looking forward to that game.
Goddamn what a great nailbiter tiebreaker final clue game. Katie Nolan killed it. Getting a feeling we might get the first ever female celebrity jeopardy champion.
Next week we got Steven Weber (character actor best known for the sitcom Wings), Shane Battier (retired NBA player), and Melissa Fumero ( Amy from Brooklyn Nine-Nine)
I'll be shocked if she doesn't win. She was stellar. I feel like she could hold her own in a regular game.
Lisa Ann Walter from Abbott Elementary who won last week was also very impressive and is another early one to look out for.
She was fine. Katie had some real confidence and I think answered some difficult questions. Lisa Ann Walter missed some obvious ones. I wonder what the stats are, like how many questions they got right vs wrong.
