I've definitely heard Yankee and maybe Being There, but can't say I've delved in much. Not out of any sort of aversion, just a bit of a blind spot for me I guess!

I gotcha! Check out Summerteeth, it’s essential. A Ghost Is Born is my favorite but that’s not a popular opinion by any means. He put out a solo acoustic album of a bunch of his songs last year that is beautiful, too.

excited to dive into this later. I’m just about finished with his book and it’s been really great.

Oh no...I didn't realize that George Saunders wrote the liner notes for this. I usually buy all the Wilco LPs but I was just planning on streaming this. But since I also usually buy everything that Saunders writes, it's a real dilemma.

  17. this album is really nice. i have his book on my shelf, excited to read it soon

Yeah I thought this was going to be like, b-sides from WARM, at least that's what it looked like on the RSD list. But the article on Paste today suggests it's an entire album

I really like the country vibe on the new album. Feels like a throw back to some of his earlier work with Uncle Tupelo and early Wilco.
