Buy Never Get Tired: The Bomb the Music Industry! Story - VHX Thing is finally released. Crazy that the person raised over $40k on this and then is charging $5 for a doc on a band that didn't charge anything for their music.
It's definitely worth $5, but yeah the finances of this thing have always been a little questionable.
I'm not disagreeing with it being worth $5 even though I haven't seen it. It's more finding out how bad the way the filmmaker handle the process which they first started in 2010.
Was going to post this as well when I saw it on his Instagram. Jeff continues to push the DIY/non-corporate boundaries with ideas such as this - I'm consistently blown away with how much work and passion and time and effort and money he puts into his music (not to mention the non-stop touring) just to literally give it all away for free on the basis that if someone likes it then they will buy it. I love him so much.
Well that was an awesome way to start 2018. New Jeff wasn't even on my radar, although it probably always should be the way he works.
Man this is good. Will need to spend more time with it obviously to see how it compares to Worry. I like the more casual approach he took to this compared to the sprawling-ness of Worry though.
