God he was phenomenal. I love when you're in the middle of a crowd at a great set and the crowd and artist both recognize it's something special.
sometimes they put up whole sets like Danny yesterday or deafheaven a few years back, etc. hoping they put this one up in full
Only caught the last 15 minutes or so of this earlier but damn it was so good. Whole band was having the time of their lives.
When I thought I couldn't watched the set I listened to worry and vacation again and feel like worry does all the awesome things of vacation but better
Feel like it's probably peak Bomb, but I prefer Scramble and worry. He's got at least three masterpieces
Idk I like Vacation, but Worry is just something special. It has such a timely message especially around the time it was released. Right before the election.
I feel like vacation isn't really his best vocal performance between scramble and worry or even adults!! Which is really the only reason it's not exactly as loved for me
The jump in songwriting (he was always pretty great) he took between Scrambles and Adults/Vacation makes me respect those albums more. Being a fan of his and following the leadup to Vacation was something special. Worry is a fantastic album and one of his best, I just don't view it as drastically different than his other post GW albums like I do Vacation. If anything, Adults remains my favorite JR release
I think I see worry as a bigger leap because I consumed the bomb stuff in a very short time before the release of we cool? And then this was really the first Jeff release where I was fully familiar with everything, but the only thing it was really being held to in my head was we cool. Idk. Love it all so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Every Jeff album since Scrambles has been massively important to me and I literally cannot choose, but this seems kind of like his "moment". Worry has broken him out of his cult/niche in a way that he's now just one of the biggest names in punk. Like, there was a MASSIVE crowd for him at that p4k show today. I'm totally cool if Worry goes down as his biggest success or the one with the biggest legacy. But also, I wouldn't be surprised if his next release is even better.
