Had no idea Jeff was doing the music for an upcoming Cartoon Network show. The show looks cute, and the ending song is so Jeff.

That outro song is pretty cool!

As far as Jeff success goes there was definitely a huge spike when We Cool came out, I think “I Look Like Shit” is good but I don’t think it had a ton of BTMI fans that excited and he was playing solo most of those shows

When he got the band together and started touring for We Cool each time got more exciting crowd wise. Worry definitely got the momentum up even more though

Worry is what turned me on to him. I remember listening to We Cool the year it came out, due to some placement on EOTY lists, but it didn’t make an impression on me at the time. I can’t imagine listening to Worry and not being struck by it. (I also still need to explore his discography.)

I guess I just overshot the general influence that BTMI had. I mean they weren't covered by pitchfork or anything but I still viewed them as a legendary act

Worry is what turned me and my older brother into huge fans even tho we both knew of him and btmi for a while

They still are, I think the documentary really shows how legendary they were

I’m from Connecticut and wasn’t into the CT Ska scene but I think ASOB was big around here in the early 2000s and BTMI had decent turnouts whenever I went to shows here

Yeah definitely, I think as far as like DIY Punk bands not an overall legendary band

It’s just cool to think about when I would see them and Jeff would have a stencil and spray paint people shirts after the show, I’ll never forget that

My buddy played U.S.A. for me this morning. I need to get into this album.

I started appreciating TV Stars more when someone compared it to The Beach Boys but I can’t help but think Brian Wilson’s Love and Mercy was a direct influence

When I was younger I liked them and assumed they were like a band everyone listened to and were considered classic and it wasn’t until last year I discovered that the friends I had who were into “punk” (Whatever that can mean) hadn’t even heard of em hahaha.

    run away with me Platinum

I'm not sure how I heard of BTMI and ASOB, I guess I'd heard most of the Long Island bands even if I didn't go to the shows because GA shows made me too anxious

BTMI! was a band I had heard mentioned a few times in high school, but I never really listened to them outside maybe a couple songs (I still need to listen, I'll be doing that soon.) I saw Jeff with MoBo and didn't really feal either way towards him, but I gave him another shot when he opened for the Menzingers this year, and that's when he really clicked with me. So basically, yes Worry is how I got into him.

And I also saw him at Pitchfork, and it was just as special as everyone says.

I'm working on a top 50 playlist of Rosenstock songs (BTMI/ASOB/Solo) right now. I'll share when I'm done

"Although I know I'll struggle I will do my best to never get tired" has become my mantra

Couple months ago I made a Spotify playlist of my 50 favorite songs (also solo/BTMI/ASOB). I've since added all the songs from Post.

Nice! Definitely pretty similar to mine with a few things different. Limiting it to 50 was really tough
