I stopped looking at it when it had Vacation at 5.

 

Hell yeah Adults that high. Does Hard Times do things other than satire?

 

The list isn't that bad, it's wild and I'm surprised at Goodbye Cool World over Vacation (and saying to skip "Campaign For A Better Weekend" because what) but Get Warmer, Adults, and Scrambles are all top tier and I think swapping GCW and Vacation makes it pretty good

 

This is the part that made me most mad haha. I love all these albums like my children but anything except Vacation or Scrambles at #1 is crazy to me.

 

Scrambles is my #1 but Get Warmer is my wife's #1 and she is who got me obsessed with BTMI! so I definitely respect it. Those 2, Adults, and Vacation are all 10/10s in my heart so anyone can do any order with those and I'll be happy.

 

I go back and forth on if I think WORRY or Vacation is Jeff's best so seeing it at 5 knocked me over haha

Vacation, Adults and Scrambles are very easily the best but all are great

 

yeah look I love the whole discog but the others can be pretty inconsistent. Get Warmer for example has some of my favourite songs he ever wrote and then a bunch I never listen to at all

he was absolutely on one with that closing run and Vacation is one of the best albums in the genre

 

but what does it all MEAN, Basil?
