Damn, that sounds very interesting. Especially since i'm currently making my way through Four Tets stuff he did with Steve Reid. Electronics and jazz mixing together is very much my thing haha

New Sam Gendel album is obviously too long at 50+ tracks, but what I got through so far has been really good.

Yeah, I’m a third of the way through and liked what I’ve heard so far.

Ready for a very obvious post?

Return to Forever and Chet Baker Sings are great.

This is awesome. It’s improvisational avant-garde doom jazz from Australia.

New Carlos Nino & Friends album on the way. With contributions from Sam Gendel, Jamael Dean, Jamire Williams & Shabaka Hutchings.

This might be directly correlated to me having firmly entered my 30s, but I've been listening to a lot more Sinatra

Still can’t find much info about these guys, but I loved their last album so was pretty excited to randomly find they had a new album out today.

And judging by the fact that Hustle is the first single, this might be the tracklist

This album RULES. The big band Oliver Nelson charts that bookend the songs around the solos are extremely my shit.

New Damon Locks is really good. Made me revisit his album from a few years back too and it’s better than I remember. Dunno why I didn’t listen to it much.
