Jay Som: Tiny Desk Concert
I'm going to see her tonight! Should be a pretty cool night, I've been wanting to check out her show for a while.
This record has been one of my favorites this year. I'll probably go to her NYC date next week.
Trying to decide if I'll go see her on Saturday. TIFF is going on and I feel pretty burnt out but I'd love to see her again and for a headlining set.
Just listened to the Tiny Desk and my excitement has just increased exponentially. She sounds so good and the band is tight.
I saw her just acoustic when she was opening for Mitski. Japanese Breakfast was there too.
Love what each of them are doing now.
just got my ticket for the philly date. hyped!
Not exactly sure why but this album didn't stick for me like her previous one did. I think it's because the other album is more guitar-driven. I'll have to return to this someday soon.
Still my #1 or 2 album of the year
What a show
always funny seeing all these tour lineups that people are now freaking out about
mitski did another one with bands that blew up in even smaller venues (think it was her first headliner?) but one of them was *** **** so....not as great now
Her and the band were so good last night! I wasn't sure exactly what to expect, but it exceed whatever those expectations were.
I still really like The Bus Song, since 2005 I've burned myself an annual greatest hits CD and that'll be on this year's for sure
Listened to the Soccer Mommy record and now I'm even more upset I'm missing her date
who is that supposed to say
some abusive band it doesn't matter
Gonna see them later today.
How were the openers? I only listened to Soccer Mommy and found them okay.
Soccer Mommy rules, the other one whose name I’m spacing out on is a little boring but fine
*She and the band.
I actually really like that idea
jay som: the feel good show of the year. wow
directed by michelle of japanese breakfast
That part with the pause and the drum is so perfect !
one of my favorite records of the year hands down
