  1. Finally got around to this this morning, wow what a beautiful record. I would say a pretty noticeable step above her last one, which was already great

  2. nvm jk i apparently like the even numbered tracks more, only by a little bit though

i legit did NOT know she was queer until like a week ago when i watched a video abt the making of the record and i heard her mention having a girlfriend, lol

So anyway, I did say I liked the even-numbered tracks on this album more, but holy hell, the odd-numbered ones are really good live, If You Want It, Peace Out, and Anak Ko especially.

late to this party - such a sweet album!

  15. I don't dislike the odd-numbered tracks, I just feel like they're pulling one way and the even-numbered ones are pulling another way, and I like the direction the even-numbered ones are going in just a teeeensy bit more. I love the entire album, though.

I think you’re putting a lot of stock into this. The album is great.

  21. Great episode. Really like the ones that focus a lot more on the music and recording process than lyrics, so that was right up my alley. Favorite song on the record too. Cool to hear that Taylor from Boy Scouts did harmonies — everyone here should check out her record if you haven’t already!

  22. After many, many listens, I've grown to love the equal- and odd-numbered tracks, um, equally. Only thing I'd maybe change is putting Nighttime Drive before Get Well instead of in between Devotion and Tenderness. I feel like that dip in tempo--not quality--is what throws me off. My favorites are still Devotion and Crown, but Peace Out and the title track are in fact also awesome, especially live.
