Running through my first listen now, and Peace Out is something let me tell you

 

i figured this would be reviewed by pitchfork today

 

I’m very curious to see if they’ll give her BNM again.

The hype surrounding this album has been considerably quieter but it’s really great. Not sure what’s up.

 

That's good at least. I'm excited to listen later, loved the previous record.

Apparently Vagabon contributed vocals to two tracks. Anyone pick up on those yet?

 

omg this is so good.

I wasn't looking out for it, but she's credited on 3 and 4.

 

The bridge on the title track is fucking breathtaking

 

They are all in on Taylor this week - I would assume a Lover review is due on Monday and this will be the highlighted review on Tuesday

 

Thought I was in the Taylor thread for a second and was so thrown off lol

 

I’m not sure what temperature this take is but this is the best thing to come out these past two Fridays

 

I can't definitively say this is better than Sleater-Kinney

 

the end of the title track is like spreading warm butter all in the grooves of my brain

 

i'm here for all the title track love. holy moly. i've honestly just been listening to it over and over all day.

 

The title track is so blues-y I love it

 

She’s always got the best guitar tones

 

This might very well be my AOTY. It's wonderful. When that guitar comes in on the title track it completely wrecks me.

Also, the album art has a similar color scheme and vibe to 'Emergency & I' so i was always going to love it lol

 

this has the most beautiful luscious tones and landscapes of any album i've heard in a while

 

There aren't any standouts, and I mean that in the best way possible. On Everybody Works there were a few clear favorites for me, but this time I have none.

the back half of Peace Out literally sounds like a newer Baroness track or something. and the title track? so damn good

 

It's been months and I'm still not over the fucking solo in Superbike.

 

My bad just listened to the record again I meant Get Well.
