Spending some time with the new Ryman live album, and this thing rips. Sounds so much fuller than the first installment.

 

It’s so much better. His live show has gotten a lot better since then in person as well, but the difference of the recordings is even more stark

 

i threw both ryman albums onto a playlist and its probably my most listened to background music when i just wanna throw something on at home. that good shit.

 

Not to get greedy but I wish he’d release more full show recordings like he was doing for a minute during covid

 

I still wish he'd released a full collection of all those Petty covers he did years ago at one of his Ryman residencies. Would have made for a bomb EP.
