    I definitely feel this album will be more rock than his past two, and I'm ok with that, but man if I dont love me some sad Jason Isbell heartbreak songs. I feel like he's overlooked on this site sometimes, I never really see his name mentioned that often in any thread.

    I have high hopes for this record. "Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit" is still my favorite. People were all about Southeastern but maybe because I was familiar with everything he'd done before it, it didn't knock me out of the park. Haven't disliked anything he's put out, for sure.

    The two "Jason isbell" records I find flawless. The 400db records are solid but don't hit me as emotionally.
