somehow have never really listened to her. this is really good

 

This is now up there with Hurry up We’re Dreaming and Take to the Skies as a favorite late night driving album.

Also Boyish is a top 10 or 20 song of the year

 

I’m shocked, neither this nor little big league?

 

Prefer the first album, but this is solid too. So far there hasn't been a Michelle project that I haven't liked.

 

I love the 40s-50s pop vibe of Boyish. My favorite is Diving Woman, the main guitar part reminds of Radiohead for some reason.

 

It feels like a song out of a movie that I’ve seen but obviously not.

Someone should use it in a movie

Stretches of this album remind me of Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating Through Space. I love how songs will be really conventional and sweet and then turn. Top 5 of last year for sure.

 

Checked this out today and I loved it.

 

My friends booked a show to open for her at a small venue in western mass and I’m so excited

 

it's crazy how big she's gotten now, after little big league was so criminally underappreciated

 

Her show here just got bumped from a 550 cap to a 1350 cap

 

i saw that! she already sold out a 500 in baltimore and is about to sell out a 1200 in DC. her last DC was in a 200 bumped to a 750 and sold the 750 out lol
