My biggest missed tour fuck ups this year: missing Pinegrove on the ping pong tour, missing Cymbals Eat Guitars and Field Mouse, and missing Japanese Breakfast with Mitski, awful terrible

 

I dig this. Every time I thought it was going to lose me with the aesthetic, the songwriting and melodies would hook me back in.

 

She's an excellent songwriter, that hardly gets brought up but she really builds them up

 

I wouldn't have expected this to get the year end coverage it has but it's dope either way

 

the mitski tour helped a lot, as well as a lot of push from a lot of well respected people/publications. makes me real happy to see her doing so well

 

Finally listened to this yesterday. It's quite good. I like it a lot more than her live show, but maybe I would like her live more now that I know the songs. The Woman That Loves You and Everybody Wants to Love You are truly amazing songs.

whoa what an unexpected, crazy cool tour for her/them. wish it came down here, i'd be interested in ponying up cash for that

 

Band is everything

 

Michelle will always be one of the greats, but this new song is taking a while to digist, I still don't know how I feel after a few listens. The video is neat though.
