There isn’t an artist going who gets more shit for their live vocals for whom I hear the “problem” less.

 

"Paprika" performance gave me goosebumps, is that Jack playing guitar and keys with her?

 

I don't recognize anyone named Jack on stage with her

 

That’s Peter, her husband.

 

Cool too! I know Jack of Wild Nothing worked on the record with her so I was just curious.

 

The lighting for Be Sweet (well, for both songs, really) is fucking awesome. and Luna Li on keys/backup vocals!

Paprika almost made me tear up. The gong! and Luna Li (again) on violin!

So great to see one (well, technically two) of my favorite AAPI artists on SNL

People are actually talking shit? She sounds fine. Great, even! I guess I'll just avoid the youtube comments.

 

I thought she sounded a little hoarse during Be Sweet, but Paprika was great.
