Easily the best thing I’ve heard from this project. Not nearly as poppy as I was expecting, tho certainly immediate, exciting and electric the whole time

I've only ever been a casual fan but I just put on "Paprika" and goddaaaaaamn

  13. Yeah, Paprika is stunning. I’m in love with the horns and strings on this album, immaculately placed when they appear. I wish that there was more of the distorted guitar on Sit.

Don’t love this record yet, half of the songs end right as they pick up which is a bummer

I actually love this on first listen, haha. been a while since I pretty much just vibed with a new record front to back (although I don't really like "Savage Good Boy")

gonna try Soft Sounds again, last time I listened to that it didn't really click with me

I saw this thread being bumped on the front page and almost blindly opened it and was like "cool, can't wait to check this out when it's out" and realized it's out

I have been so busy with work last lil bit but Be Sweet has been playing in my gfs car/my work playlists, super excited to just relax and play this

Yeah after a few listens I don't know if this is a game changer or anything, but it's obviously a huge turning point for Michelle's career which is super exciting to witness.

Not too hard to imagine her having some breakout success similar to the kind Phoebe has had in the last year.

After two listens I definitely think Posing For Cars is my favorite, but both listens were in my car. Can’t wait to hear this whole thing on my good headphones.

Soft Sounds is such an intimate record to me, and i do kinda miss that. Whereas this one is huge, almost like an arena record to me at points. Seems like that’s what she was going for, based off her idea that artist’s third albums are supposed to be “statement” record

This rules. Having an album be so diverse but still feel cohesive is impressive.
