It's not a specific science but from what I've heard from people that press records that clear is the purest form and generally will provide the best sound quality. That being said most of our setups probably won't be able to really pick up the difference.
I've only ever listened to each of their prior albums once through, I think, and barely remember anything about them but I like this song all right, really dig the production especially. That said, something about the vocals/melody seem kinda... cheesy to me? Idk lol
I think this is always going to be an argument and probably the plates have more to do with the sound quality than the actual vinyl color but in a perfect world clear is best.
Good song. That pitchfork interview is really interesting. I'm definitely down for a more varied Japandroids album.
Interesting that they're adding extra instrumentation and playing with song structure/length. Sounds good to me
Ha, Wednesdays were usually my worst days too. One semester I had like 8am to 9pm with limited breaks. That was awful.
This semester my Wednesdays are 9AM - 9 PM. I have a three hour class from 2-5 and then another from 6-9. Woohoo!
Holyyy shit, that sounds painful. I hope those three-hour classes are at least interesting subjects. To be fair, it was only classes until like 5:30 and then I had a choral rehearsal from 7-9. But those were still long days.
