Went last Friday to see them in Birmingham and was so underwhelmed. The crowd were poor and it seemed to affect the band, then I went on Saturday in London and they were a revelation again. Huge crowd for what I thought they could fill over here and the place went off.

Ew wtf Massey Hall. Would be the most boring Japandroids show ever. That's like a theatre where The National, Daughter, Fleet Foxes etc play.
That tour comes near me, should I go even though I don't love Japandroids as much as everyone else seems to? I feel like a live show might shift that for me, maybe
i am going to be so exhausted by the end of this show, haha. can't think of another show that would be more energy consuming for me
Wow normally would be super bummed that cloud nothings isn't hitting Brooklyn but I'll have moved to Pittsburgh by then so yayyyyy
Horrendously, I was really really sick during the show. Totally lost my voice around 3 or 4 o clock in the afternoon, and had a banging headache and the shivers. Truly, the worst time to get sick and not be able to sing along! Still loved it though - but need to go see them again when I'm healthy.
Ah that's a real shame, I'm hoping there may be more dates later in the year after festival season or possibly another tour as support like they did with Gaslight in '13.
it was a great show. worth the three hour drive. I was a little underwhelmed by Cloud Nothings. I was just as excited, if not more excited to see them but the crowd wasn’t really feeling it until the very end.
Definitely a great show and worth the two hour drive for me haha But yeah they fucking killed it though. Crowd was weird the whole show honestly. That girl that got on stage and kind of groped Brian was the weirdest part of the night for sure
Yeah wtf was that shit. I was in the front row on the barrier. Then she totally fell in between the stage and the barrier. They handled it with a lot of grace and were great about it but I would have been pissed if someone came up on stage and thought it was okay to just grab me and rub her boobs on me while I was playing a show.
