My schedules were always so stupid when I was a music major. Life got way, way better when I wasn't doing that anymore.
They are pretty cool. Directing the Fiction Film and Experimental Film. Just shot some 16mm on a Bolex.
Played it about ten times now. Only time I have stopped is to hear the new Nothington, now I'm back to it.
I'm hesitant to call majoring in music a mistake, because I met a lot of great people and got some cool opportunities. But yeah, it wasn't the right fit and the days were grueling. There are a lot of classes they want you to take, but they don't want you to go over 16-18 credits per semester, so they just make all of the classes one or two credits, even if you still have like 4-6 hours of those classes a week. The result is a lot of long days. That sounds pretty awesome, actually.
Being an English major is sweet but people will mock you if you make a grammatical error which is a bummer. #Tragic
I liked taking early classes so that I could have the rest of my day afterwards. In my freshman year I had one class on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 8 AM - 9:30 AM, and then just went home afterwards
my first semester i only had 8 and 9s my second semester my earliest was 11 one day a week but most of my classes were 12:30 or 2 that 10 or 11 starting time was definitely the sweet spot i found out
That's what I did. My second to last semester I had Monday and Wednesday classes only and it was the best.
If Japandroids release another 10/10 album they will probably shoot straight to favorite band status for me. I love love love this song.
Ok alright fine I admit it CR is pretty damn spectacular maybe it's the hype getting to me but it's p damn great time to revisit Post Nothing and No Singles
