Big surprise but this is really fuckin good

 

Got my tour tickets today and I'm so excited. Probably going to wait until I can sit and watch the whole movie before listening to this, but I can't freakin wait. I can't stop listening to the 4 songs already out

This album is absolutely fantastic

 

Janelle Monáe Frees Herself

 

There are shades of Prince all over this album, I love it. The verse on Django Jane is incredible too.

 

Screwed is crazy good

 

This has to be the world's greatest album cycle

Hope it doesn't seem like I'm diminishing things, I'm glad she's comfortable talking about it now because I know in the past she was like my sexuality is Android we don't have human sexuality which I understand

is she the epitome of human evolution

 

Archandroid is a classic if you're asking me and I haven't heard more than the singles that were released, but based on those this is a step up even from that album. I'm beyond excited to listen to this but I'm waiting to watch the movie tomorrow!
