What a strange, boring video. That could've been so much cooler. Every time I thought something interesting was about to happen, nothing did instead.
What? 400 Real people, dressed all the same, same hair dye, no vfx, no cgi, running through a place in china that is replicated to look like Paris to scale doesn't speak to you on any level? Clones? Individuality? Paris attacks? Artistic theft? Virtual Reality being Isolation? Abandonment? The future? The cinematography? The choreography of all those people?! I was blown away by this.
No, I get it. Looking back at my post, it was a little over the top. But I was just disappointed because this video had a really high ceiling. Also, I'm not a huge fan of videos that are completely independent of the song.
