Excited to get a new album so quickly. His voice is insane. Interesting concept too!

 

Didn't he just put an album out like 8 months ago?

edit: Just read his statement on the album. Good for him! Can't wait to catch the first full album performance at Roots Picnic.

 

It's always exciting when an artist decides not to conform to the 'usual' way of doing things and just put something out that they're passionate about. I'm really excited for this.

 

I'm pretty darn impressed with this, especially with how quickly he put it together

 

I've found it harder to get into than his last two so far but it's certainly interesting. Feel like I need to give it time and keep coming back.

Still haven't properly got into this. I keep coming back to We Move from last year though. Great album. I'm sure this will click eventually.

Post Tropical and We Move are two of my favourite albums but I just couldn't get into True Care.

kinda forgot about this dude a bit. glad to see the stuff he's done in the interim has been great

 

True Care was not for me after the phenomenal We Move. Still one of my favourite live performances when my wife and I saw him in Manchester after that album came out. Breathtaking.

 

True Care kinda feels like a project he had to make, something more personal than consumer friendly, if that makes sense. The singles since then feel much more back in the groove

 

i really really dig this. kinda the sound i always wanted from him.
