Yeah I think I’ve liked every one of Denis’ movies. As for Nolan, he’s probably gotten his Bond obsession out in other ways and we are better off he’s making whatever his heart desires.
I was pretty thrown by all the mega celebrity actors in DUNE. It kind of took me out of it. I think really strong actors but not A list celebrities would have been less jarring.

does anyone know what the deal is with all the bonds showing up on Amazon in September / October? I went on a marathon a few months back and the only one I didn’t watch was diamonds. Would love to revisit a few but I don’t want to rent them.
Bond movies are back on prime! Watched every one but Diamonds this year. Have jt downloaded for a flight and will report back with my final power ranking. Overall I loved most of them and only really didn’t like a couple.
Alright here’s my power ranking. Excited to get another viewing in of a few while they’re on Amazon. Very much enjoyed the ride. It’s lame there isn’t an easy way to own all of them digitally in one package or Amazon can’t get the rights nailed down after purchasing the IP. Connery is legendary but the first three films are the only ones that I really enjoyed. Brosnan was a killer bond with mostly boring movies. Moore rules, I liked his run way more than anticipated. Craig is maybe my favorite. Dalton is way up there, I wish he had more cracks at it. I really like majesty and would have loved to see a couple more from him. I love it so much. It’s criminally underrated. It’s one of my most rewatched Bond movies. This was a running list as I was watching a good chunk for the first time. It probably ranks higher after completing the run. I just did a first play through and it’s miles ahead of any other Connery past his prime outing.
I rewatched quantum recently and still think it’s stinky and boring. I might put it above spectre though.
