fuck yeah. I couldn’t make that LA date, and the San Diego one is at a significantly smaller venue.

say what you will is pretty good, if unexciting, a problem ive had with his music for a while now as nothing has quite had that thrill the self titled had when it came out. still, it's all been very good and im sure this record will be very good, i do like the single.

I feel like my perception is skewed bc I got into him with Assume Form so I have no frame of reference to how groundbreaking the s/t was at the time, but I truly believe that Colour and AF are his best work. He's really hit a stride of making music that's so accessible and easy to listen to but at the same time incredibly interesting and un-formulaic both structurally and production wise

I’m in the s/t camp, but I’ve enjoyed all his albums.

s/t is absolute next level though.

I got into him after the Air & Lack Thereof/Sparing the Horses single, so everything has been disappointing since that for me haha. Nah, i've always enjoyed his stuff. But I do find myself getting less and less excited on every album cycle.

His run of singles before his ST are near untouchable. As are some of the non album singles/EPs he's put out over the years. He's such a phenomenal electronic producer that it almost seems a shame that he doesn't bring that side of his sound to his albums.

But he probably has more success with the albums, so I understand why he may not out anything like Order/Pan on any of his albums.
