That would have been interesting to see if Copeland did that with Ixora/Ixora Twin.

 

I mean the two Metro songs are enjoyable and everything but they're kinda hilarious after the beauty of the first song. kinda scream standalone single and not album track imo

 

Oh god the title track is a stunner

 

Can’t Believe the Way We Flow into Are You In Love? is magic

 

This is clicking with me a lot harder on second listen. This fucking rules, wow.

 

I can see this but those tracks are also so enjoyable imo that I don’t mind

 

Rosalia

 

This is outstanding. The Colour in Anything felt like a return to the insular sound of his self titled, but this feels like more of an expansion of the pop explorations of Overgrown. It's not as big of a departure into straight pop as that one review lead me to believe but I think the project is better for that. Love all the collaborations here but Andre 3000 and Rosalia definitely work the best for me. Looking forward to spending a lot more time with it and I'm really excited to have such a great album only a few weeks into the new year.

 

Can't wait to hear this tomorrow!!!

 

Yep definitely agreed. I’m glad this feels like an expansion of his sound and not a total departure.
